Planning for the $10-million dollar bond improvements for Lafayette park will begin this year! Please look out for an upcoming announcement on a community planning meeting for this important initiative which will shape the renovation of our park. FOLP is in the process of coordinating with the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department to gather public input for the renovation plans. More details to come soon!

SFPD has increased patrols in the park, and we thank them for the improved safety for all. Please note as a result of this, that some dog friends whose companions are off leash at the time of patrol may have received some warnings from police. The designated off-leash dog area is along Sacramento Street at Octavia, next to the tennis courts.
