 While our beloved Lafayette Park is closed for renovation, don't forget that we have Alta Plaza Park, only four blocks away, which could use our attention. During the renovation, we encourage you to join us to help clean and green another neighborhood "gem."
Clean and Green Your Park with the S.F. Recreation & Parks Gardeners
Details:
When: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Where: Meet at the north side of the children's playground
What to bring: Comfortable, protective clothing, sturdy footwear, hat, sun block or rain gear, as necessary.
We’ll provide: Work gloves, tools and good camaraderie!
Other: Free Peet's coffee, assorted bagels, juices to all volunteers

Calling all dog owners and dog lovers! For this month's Cleaning and Greening event we will focus on eradicating foxtails, which pose a major health hazard to dogs and can even be fatal if ingested. Please help us keep the park safe for our furry four-legged pals.
As usual, we will have coffee and pastries, lively conversation, and a group of dedicated volunteers on hand to beautify our park. Tell your friends and spread the word. We can always use more help and always like welcoming new people!
