Support Our Playground! $100,000 Needed By May 31st
Last Chance to Put Your Name on the Plaza with a Donation of $2,000 or More
Friends of Lafayette Park Playground Committee is working to raise $100,000 from the community to leverage bond funds and build a unique, nature-themed playground that will enhance the beauty of the park and encourage healthy and creative play for years to come. The bond funds will be used to repair overall park infrastructure and would provide only a simple, basic playground for toddlers. The Playground Committee is leading the way to raise additional funds to include new features like swing sets for toddlers and big kids, a dry creek with old-fashioned water pumps, and a gorge to climb. So far we’ve raised over $475,000 to fund design and construction, and need just $100,000 to reach our goal.
With a gift of $2,000 or more, you will receive a permanent paver or bronze placque on the plaza by the playground! Please make your donation today and help us meet our goal by May 31, 2012.
San Francisco Parks Alliance is the fiscal sponsor for Friends of Lafayette Park Playground and all donations are fully tax-deductible.
