Monthly "Cleaning and Greening" Volunteer Days

NOTE: Cleaning and Greening events are on hold until the park renovation is complete, spring 2013

The easiest and most fun way to get involved with FOLP is to come to the monthly "Cleaning and Greening" work days.

On the first Saturday of each month, we gather to install new plants, weed, sweep and more. With the help of many hands, we do quite a lot to keep the park spruced up. We gather beforehand for some morning coffee and pastries, lively conversation, and then head out with the city gardeners help beautify our park. Please join us! Help to maintain the park and get to know our neighbors. Tell your friends and spread the word.

When: *First Saturday of each month (except for major holidays), 9 AM - noon.

Where: We meet at the picnic tables, just north of the playground, visible from the corner of Laguna and Washington Streets

* If  the first Saturday of the month falls on a major holiday, we will hold the event on the following Saturday. Be sure to check our calendar. Also, please join our mailing list and we'll keep you posted on park events.
